MADO
A Turkish Brand on Top of Ice Cream in the World…
MADO was founded in 1991 by Yaşar Dondurma ve Gıda Maddeleri A.Ş. to strengthen the bridge that it has built between the tradition and the future, and to provide Turkish ice cream consumers with the pleasure of having ice cream in decent shops.
The decision to found a nationwide chain of Ice Cream Cafes based on the concept “Enjoy the ice cream!” was implemented with the opening of MADO Cafe in Istanbul Caddebostan. Turning the consumption of ice cream into a pleasure for Turkish consumers; MADO has always been a leader in creating new habits. In addition to the MADO ice cream, it offers consumers a feast of taste at its branches with the traditional desserts and foods from the Turkish cuisine.

MADO ICE CREAM

Mado Ice Cream brand has been developed as a small concept of the Mado brand branches with the purpose of opening an ice cream shop in each neighborhood. Appealing to the taste lovers with its unique flavors such as a wide range of ice creams, kunefe, waffles, homemade lemonades and ice cream drinks; Mado Ice Cream aims to reach the entire Europe thanks to its special presentations, broad concept and diversity of products, where guests can have the products that they desire at any time. The brand, which currently serves with a smaller product range, is planned to grow rapidly in the long term.
KÜNEFECİ
Founded in 2017, the Künefeci brand has started to serve Kunefe, which is made in the Middle East since the 1920s, by using wheat, goat milk and pistachios obtained entirely from Kahramanmaraş City and its surroundings, through its unique cooking and presentation techniques, and has also made the desserts with kadayıf synonymous with Yaşar Ice Cream. Launched with the purpose of offering the legendary Turkish tastes to the world, particularly to the Arab countries; the reputation of the “Künefeci” is spreading by word of mouth. It presents the Turkish flavors to its visitors with its rich menus in addition to the special hand-churned ice creams leaving a lasting taste on palate. Meticulously prepared künefes at Künefeci are made by using the highest quality materials collected from Anatolia. For künefe, the wheat grown in Kahramanmaraş is grinded in a stone mill, and hard wheat is obtained and used as a raw material for kadayıf. Cheese that has a high nutritional value is one of the indispensable ingredients of the special künefe. The specially-prepared künefe is served to guests with its hot presentation and special ice cream; pistachios, walnuts and hazelnuts accompany this taste depending upon personal preferences.
